Airvo Trach Direct Connect
Airvo Trach Direct Connect is a specialized interface adapter that connects the Fisher & Paykel Airvo high-flow humidification system directly to a tracheostomy tube, enabling patients with a trach to receive the benefits of heated, humidified high-flow therapy without a nasal cannula interface. It is commonly used for patients who are weaning from mechanical ventilation or who require ongoing humidification via trach.
Proper humidification is especially important in tracheostomized patients to compensate for the bypassed upper airway. OxyCare supplies trach-compatible Airvo accessories and can coordinate setup and delivery for patients transitioning from hospital to home care.
