Broda - 22
Broda 22" Tilt-in-Space Chair is designed for patients requiring a wider seat for comfort and proper lateral positioning. It provides the full range of Broda's clinically proven pressure redistribution and tilt-in-space functionality in a frame sized for larger adult patients who need postural support and skin protection during extended seated periods.
All Broda chairs can be customized with a variety of accessories including trays, thigh straps, footrests, and O2 holders. OxyCare supplies and sets up Broda equipment directly at the patient's location, and rental is available for short-term and hospice care needs.

Set-up
- Technician will set-up Broda Chair.
- Demonstrate all of the features.
- Patient/Caregiver demonstrates each step and has a solid understanding.
- Review how to call for service. When to order. Where to call.
Cleaning
- Chair can be wiped off with soapy water. Wipe soap off with a damp cloth.
Safety
- Apply brakes when transferring patient, or when chair is not being moved.
- Upon transfer into chair tilt sufficiently to prevent sliding or falling forward.
- Position feet on footrest and slightly to fully elevate footrest.
- Be sure pathways are clear for movement.
- Tilt the seat sufficiently to prevent chair from tipping forward or backward.
- The chair should only be used in a supervised area.
- Exercise caution when repositioning patient in the chair.
- The patient should be repositioned frequently.
- Chair must be used on a level surface. Indoor use only.
- Avoid placing the chair near handrails or other objects, fixed or movable.
- Patient should be fully clothed. Avoid contact of bare skin to the straps of the chair.
- Do Not use chair in the shower.
NOTE - Weight Capacity 660 pounds. An 18 inch 30VT weighs 87 pounds.
