Full Electric Hospital Bed provides fully motorized adjustment of the head section, foot section, and overall bed height via a hand pendant control, allowing both patients and caregivers to make precise positioning changes without manual effort. Electric height adjustment in particular is critical for caregiver safety, allowing the bed to be raised for care tasks and lowered for patient transfers.

OxyCare delivers and sets up full electric hospital beds at the patient's home, including installation of rails, mattress, and accessories. A full orientation on the pendant controls is provided at delivery. Rental is available.

Please follow instructions given by the equipment technician. Please follow your doctor's orders.

Set-up

1. Technician will set-up bed at your home. DO NOT move the bed.
2. Side rails should be in up position while patient is unattended.
3. Top Up arrow raises the head section. Down arrow lowers head section.
4. Bottom Up arrow raises the knee section of the bed. Down arrow lowers knee section.
5. Bed height can be controlled with the crank.
6. Demonstrate how to raise and lower side rails.
7. Demonstrate how to use controller.
8. Patient/Caregiver demonstrates each step and has a solid understanding.
9. Review how to order supplies. When to order. Where to call.

Cleaning

1. Bed frame can be wiped off with soapy water. Wipe soap off with a damp cloth.
2. Notify OxyCare of any operational problem. The bed is to be checked every three years in the home.

Safety

1. Do not use extension cords.
2. Do not have electrical cords or throw rugs near bed due to trip hazard.
3. Do not move your bed without permission from OxyCare.
4. Do not smoke in bed.
