O2 Concentrator - 10L
10-Liter Oxygen Concentrator is a high-output stationary home oxygen device capable of continuously extracting and delivering up to 10 liters per minute of concentrated oxygen from room air. It is prescribed for patients with higher supplemental oxygen requirements that cannot be met by standard 5 LPM concentrators.
OxyCare delivers and sets up 10L concentrators at the patient's home with full orientation on operation, maintenance, and safety procedures. Rental is available for patients on continuous supplemental oxygen therapy.

Set-up
- Plug oxygen concentrator into wall outlet.
- Connect tubing adapter to oxygen outlet port. Optional - Humidifier jar may be used for high liter flows, or if ordered by physician. Distilled water is to be used in the humidifier jar.
- Connect oxygen tubing to the outlet port.
- Connect oxygen cannula to oxygen tubing.
- Turn oxygen concentrator on.
- Set prescribed liter flow.
- Demonstrate how to place cannula on patient.
- Patient/Caregiver demonstrates each step and has a solid understanding.
- Review how to order supplies. When to order. Where to call.
Cleaning
- External filters should be rinsed free of dust each week. Dry thoroughly.
- Humidifier jar should be washed each day in soapy detergent water. Rinse well. Soak for 30 minutes in a mixture of (1 part white vinegar and 4 parts water). Rinse well. Fill with distilled water. Humidifier jar should be replaced each month.
- Nasal cannula can be wiped off with soapy water. Wipe soap off with a damp cloth. Cannula should be changed every 2 weeks.
- Exterior of oxygen concentrator should be dry dusted each week.
Safety
- Oxygen must be at least 5 feet from an open flame.
- Do not smoke near the oxygen.
- Do not use oil based products on the patient's face. No vaseline.
- Do not move oxygen concentrator to another location.
- Maintain at least 12-18 inches of free air space around unit. Do not push up against a wall or a curtain.
- Post "NO SMOKING" signs.
