Junior Rollator is a scaled-down four-wheeled walker designed for smaller adults, pediatric patients, or patients with shorter stature who find standard rollators too large or high to use comfortably. It provides the same braking, seating, and rolling support as full-size models at appropriate proportions.

OxyCare supplies junior rollators alongside adult and bariatric sizes to accommodate patients of all sizes, and rental is available for those with short-term or trial mobility needs.

Please follow instructions given by the equipment technician. Please follow your doctor's orders.

Set-up

1. Technician will set-up the walking aid at your home.
2. Adjust the walking aid to the proper height, generally adjust handgrips to wrist level.
3. Adjustments are made by depressing the spring-loaded button and moving the foot piece to the desired height.
4. Walkers fold by pressing button and moving sides inward.
5. Canes are generally used on the stronger side.
6. Demonstrate how to fold walker.
7. Patient/Caregiver demonstrates each step and has a solid understanding.
8. Review how to call for service. When to order. Where to call.

Cleaning

1. Walking Aids can be wiped off with soapy water. Wipe soap off with a damp cloth.

Safety

1. Watch for trip hazards (cords, throw rugs, uneven surfaces).
2. All feet on walking aid must be the same height.
3. Be sure pathways are clear for movement within the home, check doorways.
4. Check for wear on the rubber tips after an extended period of use.
