Fall Mat
Fall Mat is a thick foam floor mat placed alongside a patient's bed or chair to cushion and reduce injury in the event of a fall. It is commonly used in home care and hospice settings for patients at high fall risk who cannot be supervised at all times, providing a protective landing surface without physically restraining the patient.
Fall mats are typically 2"–4" thick and covered in a wipe-clean vinyl surface for hygiene. They fold for storage when not in use. OxyCare supplies fall mats alongside fall prevention alarm systems, and rental is available for patients with temporary monitoring needs.
