Trach Ties
Trach Ties are securing straps worn around the neck to hold the tracheostomy tube in place, preventing accidental dislodgement during patient movement and care activities. Traditional cloth ties are tied around the trach tube flanges and must be maintained at an appropriate tightness — snug enough to prevent movement but not so tight as to cause pressure injury to the neck.
